I have always had a dread and fear of dental treatment due to poor pain management and treatment, to the extent that fainting in the chair became routine. However, having moved to Alpha House and undergone some fairly invasive and significant treatment, I am now able to say that I feel much more at ease with my visits to the dentist and fainting is a thing of the past. Mubariz Houssain has a calm and reassuring manner and is helpful at explaining what he is doing and why. Mr Houssain and his staff present a welcoming, calm and relaxed atmosphere that puts one at ease. I do apologise for miss-hearing “alright?” for “bite”….

I was absolutely terrified of dentists in general before visiting the Alpha House Dental Practice - I would physically shake with fear. Unfortunately I developed a painful abscess and looked for a local dental surgery to me. All I can say is that I feel so lucky to be a patient of the Alpha House Dental Surgery. Mr Hussain is a wonderful dentist - caring, gentle and understanding. He understood my fears and did his best to put me at ease. The whole team at Alpha House are excellent, second to none, and all are extremely caring and kind. For anyone with a fear of dentists please go and visit Alpha House to see Mr Hussain and his lovely team. It doesn't feel like any dental surgery I have ever visited before. I have been looked after by Mr Hussain for over 20 years now. Prior to that I was nervous and reluctant to attend any dentist therefore I only ever visited a dentist when a problem occurred. Mr Hussain has enabled me to overcome all worries and concerns. He and his team have been very patient, reassurring and kind. Now I can look forward to regular dental check ups, hygienist visits and treatments without worry. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Hussain.

I have always been nervous about going to the dentist but Dr Hussain, and all his staff, work to ensure calm and reassuring environment from reception through to treatment. This is important on every visit whether it is for a check up or to see the hygienist but particularly so when I needed crowns. I was dreading the visits but was extremely pleased that all I felt when I left the surgery was tiredness. The personal approach to me is always courteous, professional and kind. Clinically, Dr Hussain always takes the time to ensure the highest standard of treatment and care, is extremely patient - especially with someone, like me, who is so nervous, and was a perfectionist when it came to fitting my crowns and ensuring they looked just right. Dr Hussain has a wondeful team supporting him, always accomodating when it comes to making appointments and making special requests. I always feel very welcomed when attending appointments. I certainly wouldn't go anywhere else for dental care and treatment.

From the moment of entering the waiting room a calm pleasant friendly atmosphere. Dr Hussein has the knack of making you feel he's invited you for a cup of tea rather than a dental appointment! He also explains everything as he goes along without going into too much gory detail. He always invites you to say if anything is troubling you and is so charming that even having a filling is not a wholly uinpleasant experience! Perhaps some pictures of cute laughing children or beautiful landscapes on the ceiling would be a nice touch!
