Can I be put to sleep to have my molars removed?

I have to get 4 molars pulled how many needles do they use and can they put you to sleep without an iv?

It sounds as if you are worried about injections ?
It rather depends where the molars are usually to numb a molar needs an injection on either side of the tooth , but sometimes the injection numbs more than one tooth .
To have IV sedation , IV means intra venous , so yes you do need an injection in your arm .
However if this is a severe problem then its possible to be referred to hospital for a general anaesthetic which they can use Nitrous oxide and oxygen as an induction then give you the IV .
If you have IV sedation then you will not be aware of having the other needles in the gum
Hope this helps
