I am 68 and have a phobia of the dentist
I am 68 and suffer from dental phobia. I get in a panic when I get into the surgery and feel like I embarrass myself by not relaxing. The minute I open my mouth I find I cannot breathe. I gag which I find embarrassing and no matter how I want to be calm its impossible. I find that dentists get annoyed with me and always put off going for that very reason. I had a lot of dental work done when I was young in Eastman’s dental hospital in London but the older I get the worse I become. Is there a dental practice when I can be at ease and the dentists doesn’t get annoyed.
