I am worried about patient confidentiality

Dr.Pinder,
I’m worried about doctor-patient confidentiality. I’ve had dentists that I felt were talking about me, I will sometimes have outbursts if they don’t give me enough time and start doing procedures without me having a say.One dentist wanted to put me in a film about dentristy and only put my outbursts on it. I was outraged of course and stopped going, This was a dentristy school my friend worked at.
So Doctor, Im wondering about how does doctor-patient confidentiality work?

Im not quite clear where these incidents happened .
You have to give your consent to allow any procedure to begin .
If there are things that you would prefer not to do then you must say so . No-one can do a video interview or film without your written consent , and nobody has to agree to it .
If you were being treated at a dental hospital then you may have students . Or you may be observed in a clinic by students , and the staff may discuss your case with them . but you do have the right to opt out of having a student in . But if you have gone to a dental hospital then you are probably aware of that .
Sometimes a dentist does not know what is best for you and may confer with other colleagues to decide what might be best
