Hello Dr Pinder, I have a question-is there a nhs number I can call that will find me a dentist that does the numbing of the mouth without the injections as this is what I dread and id rather be heavily sedated than have any needles, im in east tilbury, essex,

Its not possible to do numbing of the mouth without injections . Heavy sedation involves an injection in the arm , and also in the mouth .
I suspect you are afraid or even phobic of injections .
I suggest you look at www.dentalfearcentral.org for a dentist in your area who may have been recommended by someone else .
Also they have some information about needle phobia .
Google dentists/iV sedation , and your area , and that should give you some leads .
There is no central information service about this in the NHS .
