Hello
Im sorry that you are having teeth problems .
lets start with your needs
You need to find an NHS dentist , and possibly one that does sedation on the NHS or can refer to a special sedation facility .
You have to get to the dentist first for an assessment as otherwise you can’t get any further !
Until you find out what your real dental needs are , then its not possible to tell whether sedation is an option for you .
many people who are phobic believe that the only way they can have treatment is to be ‘ knocked out ‘ and as they have always been sedated they never get over their phobias . Have an open mind until you know whats needed , there are options such as sedative tablets .
However there are some for who sedation is the only option , but your dentist should know where its possible to get this .
A possibilty is to ask your Primary Health Care Trust ( PCT ) where the local community clinic is , or a sedation clinic which has contracts .
