My dentist was rude and insensitive, what should I do now?
hello i have really bad dental phobia, i’m not sure what scares me the most about going to the dentist but i haven’t been for a long time because of it. i went for a check-up yesterday after avoiding my dentist for years and he was very rude and actually insulting. this has really upset me, i know i shouldn’t have avoided the dentist but i thought he might have been a bit more sensitive about the situation. i explained that i was petrified about coming but he just snapped at me. i really don’t want to go back, i’m due to have several fillings. what should i do?

You have achieved finding out that you need treatment so that at least is a start .
You can change dentist if you want to . Could you ask around your friends , or look at www.dentalfearcentral.org for dentists who other people have found to be more in tune with nervous patients ?
