My sister’s gums have receded is she in danger of loosing her teeth?

Hi,my sister is very worried as the gums above her two front teeth have recceded very badly she’s only 25. Unfortunatly this year in the space of a month, both my grandad and my mum sadly sudenly passed away, this has affected my little sister very badly, and she finds it hard to leave the house, and now this has happened i cant get her to stop crying and dont know what to do really, she has an appointment with a detist to get her teeth scraped but she thinks for sure that her two front teeth will fall out, any advice or help would be amazing, as i just dont know what to do.

Goodness how awful. I am really sorry to hear this.
I think the only thing is for your sister to see the dentist as soon as possible and see what they think is going on. Please remember that the dentist is there to help, and they will know what to do. If not, they can always refer your sister to someone who will be able to help.

Again, sincere condolences for your loss.

Very best wishes.

Simon
