Will I loose all my teeth after suffering anorexia?

I have suffered anorexia purge type for years, and as a result have acid wear and some decay on the backs of some of my teeth. as present the front is okay. I am getting help for my purging, but I know I need to go to the dentist, can you give me any advice on what to expect. I’m terrified they are going to pull all my teeth. Thank you

It’s really good that you are getting help for your problem . Also that you now feel strong enough to deal with your teeth .
You need to source a dentist who has empathy with people with difficulties .I suggest you look at www.dentalfearcentral.org to see who others have found helpful in your area. It’s doubtful that you will need to have all your teeth out , usually people know if their problems are that serious with broken roots or loose teeth .
However you need to find out what the condition is , so that you can start to plan what needs to be done , and stop imagining the worst which is unlikely to be true
