Will my dentist judge me if he see’s the state of my teeth?
HELLO Dr I’m having problems with my teeth more and more frequently with the same one it’s one of the larger teeth towards the back on the right. It’s aches consistently and on occasion I get a stabbing pain in it that really halts whatever i am doing! I want to have this problem addressed for obvious reasons but I feel the dentist will be judging me for not keeping my teeth in brilliant nick. I’ve had the same dentist for ever and he always commented on how nice my teeth were when I was younger- for him to see them like this now… I think he would be severely miffed! makes me think, who’s teeth are these but I can’t help it!
HI, sorry to hear about these problems. however contrary to what you may feel, your dentist is there to help you, not judge you.
Please go and see him and he will be delighted to see you again and help resolve this current problem, I urge you to do this as soon as possible.
