After graduating from Guy’s Hospital in London with distinction in 1998, Dr Mark Aston furthered his education by enrolling in a Master of Clinical Dentistry in Prosthodontics course at Kings Hospital in London, which he completed in 2003. 

Following this, he gained an additional MSc in Dental Implants from Guy’s Hospital London and also completed a two-year DipConSed training course in Conscious Sedation, which he undertook at Newcastle Hospital. 

His professional work has seen him working in the oral surgery departments in hospitals and in NHS general practice; however, after receiving his high-level implant surgery training at Guy’s Hospital, Dr Aston became a lead clinician and partner at City Bridge Dental & Implant Clinic.

As an active member of the Academy for Advanced Surgical Skills, the European Association of Osseointegration, and the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), Dr Aston attends meetings worldwide. He is also involved in teaching and mentoring dentists in restorative and implant dentistry. 

Dr Aston takes the comfort and experience of his patients seriously and ensures that his high standards of care are delivered in a relaxing and friendly environment. 

Throughout his career, Dr Aston has helped nervous patients get essential treatment. Through the use of sedation, he is able to provide a more relaxed experience while helping patients overcome their anxiety and fears. 

When he’s not treating patients, Dr Aston spends his time cycling and running and is a triathlete. Whenever possible, he also enjoys travelling with his family.
