Dr Chris McConnell is a cosmetic and implant dentist at St Piran Dental in Cornwall. In addition to his work at his practice, he is also on the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry board. He is also a key opinion leader for several international companies and the founder of the REAL Dentist course, which improves dental practice efficiency. 

As part of his training, Dr McConnell studied Advanced Implant Dentistry with the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons. He has also amassed considerable experience working in both high street practices in the UK and Australia and specialist hospital units.

Dr McConnell is one of the UK’s pioneering no-drill dentists. Not only does he practice this technique, but he also passes on his knowledge and experience in this area to several national and international organisations.

Added to this, Dr McConnell also has a wealth of experience in sedation dentistry. As a Dental Phobia Certified dentist, he listens carefully to every patient so that he understands their specific needs. His experience in this area means he takes referrals of nervous patients from other nearby dental practices.

In addition to working at St Piran, Dr McConnell works part-time at Plymouth University Peninsula Dental School as a visiting specialist.

Dr McConnell’s hobbies include windsurfing, surfing, and surf boat rowing.
