As a true Cornishman,I feel strongly obliged to thank Dr Brian Needham,his attendant nurse and technician on the day.When I add up the cost of all the fillings and extractions he did on my appointment it made the sedation good value and I was looked after so well-even escorted to my companions car for safety! All round decent chap and a dentist I can trust in future.Many thanks to all the team as well- I felt very safe!

I have been terrified of the dentist for over 50 years. I needed 8 teeth removed and dentures fitted. Brian said i will do it in one go and you won't feel a thing or know anything about it. He was correct......the whole sedation team were marvellous, I highly recomend him, very professional, compassionate, kind and down to earth. I can't remember any part of the procedure due to the sedation. The whole team were truely outstanding.

I can’t thank Brian and his team enough for the care and compassion they showed me. I have a severe Dental and needle phobia, but with gentle yet quick actions I had my wisdom tooth removed without any pain or knowing anything about it..!! Years of avoiding Dentists after some very traumatic experiences have now been put aside, I will be returning regularly to see Brian and his team.

I was absolutely terrified and have had a phobia that has kept me away from dentist surgeries for over 30 years. When I could no longer avoid it I rang the surgery in a very tearful state and and wonderful Lydia who spoke to me was very calm and eventually encouraged me along. Dr Needham was reassuring, full of humour and understanding, gave me loads of time and works such a very special kind of magic that now I'm looking forward to the treatment ahead! If you're scared, please give this practice a try, they're all amazing and I think they're literally going to change my life! Also, it was loads cheaper than I ever expected

Was put at complete ease which made me feel 10 times better. So pleased I went. Had a sedation & teeth pulled followed by new dentures. The dentist I saw Dr Brian Needham was fantastic so kind & caring. The aftercare I'm receiving is just as great an experience that could be very traumatic has been made alot easier. 2 of my biggest fears are needles and the dentist put them both together and it’s game over for me. I needed 2 teeth removed so had a meeting with Brian who talked me through everything and he even suggested I got some numbing plasters for the day which I did and they did help. Throughout the whole experience Brian and his team were incredible they are caring and patient and did a great job. Can highly recommend.

I am 88 and have been petrified of going to the dentist all my life. Having found Brian Needham he immediately put me at my ease by explaining how sedation worked, all of which was true as I didn't feel a thing when he extracted two teeth and filled two others. I have already made a next appointment for later in the year with no worries at all. What a relief to find such a kind, caring Dentist after all this time.

What can I say! Brian is amazing. I was literally terrified, no one else would treat me because of underlying issues but Brian recognised that the treatment was needed. Every single precaution was taken and he made me feel completely at ease. I had been in pain for months and since my visit…..nothing! I would have no hesitation recommending and nor would I be concerned about treatment in the future. Just awesome.

Having suffered a fear of dentists from a young age, my phobia led me to neglect my dental needs. Subsequently, as a result of years of neglect, my teeth were absolutely awful and I had to make the decision to remove most of my teeth and succumb to dentures. The thought and horror of having the necessary work to be done made me have nightmares, but I heard about the possibility of sedation and was encouraged to seek out Brian Needham's expertise. I went to see Brian on a first consultation, he was absolutely brilliant and put me at ease immediately. He gave me the confidence I needed to set out a plan straight away, and after two sessions and the removal of more than a dozen teeth which was relatively pain free - I am now more comfortable in myself. Compounded to my problem, I also had an extremely significant "cross bite" which made it more difficult than normal. I am now in the process of deciding the next steps of getting "that perfect smile" and I can't thank Brian enough for his advice, help, skill and most of all his very pleasant manner - what a lovely man!

My daughter Isis has had treatment with Brian. I cannot recommend this practice enough, from the initial phone call to the treatment she received, absolutely brilliant. Brian is patient, caring and very sympathetic to the situation with my daughter having a huge fear of dentists, panic attacks and phobias. Everything was fully explained and felt at ease the moment we walked in. Without a doubt I will return should either of my children require any further treatment. 10 out of 10.

I had been putting off getting my teeth sorted for some many years and the longer I left it the more scared I became about the whole thing I got but luckily for me I met Brian and now I’ve been living pain free all thanks to this top notch fellow! Highly recommended

My 7 year old Sam has real anxiety when going to the dentist but Brian has built an amazing relationship with him. He’s funny, kind and talks through everything with him (and me!). Sam had sedation to remove a tooth and he left the dentist smiling! He couldn’t feel any pain or discomfort during the procedure and was relaxed and happy throughout. Brian and his team are true legends. I highly recommend anyone with a phobia or anxiety to use him!

Brian and his team are amazing! Brian is so kind and calm a and explains things so clearly. I am so grateful to him for helping me with my fears. I have had lots of bad experiences so having to have teeth out terrified me but I could not of been better looked after. I therefore thanked my lucky stars (and Google) when I discovered Dr Brian Needham (at Wadebridge Dental Practice) specialised in treating phobic patients like me. During the appointments I was treated with kindness, humour and understanding, for the first time in my life. Brian's easy-going, jokey patter quickly put me at ease and the final treatment, with I.V. sedation was actually a pleasant experience! I came away relieved and happy with my new, small denture. I have always had a phobia about going to the dentist and it took my previous dentist over 30 years to put me at ease. However I moved out his area and moved to Cornwall and had Ben here just over a year when I had terrific toothache and made a decision to try and find a dentist here as to far over 300 miles to travel now. After searching for reviews I came across Dr Brian Needham at Wadebridge Dental and made an appointment to see him and although a little nervous he made me feel like a person not another patient which really assured me of his care. The tooth was badly infected and so he gave me antiobics and agreed to see him in a few days. We discussed sedation and I thought this was the best action as he would probably peel me off ceiling. I came out of the practice feeling uplifted. On the day of sedation again Dr Needham was terrific and put me at ease. His care and the 2 nurses and all the staff were great and would not have any hesitation to recommend him and the practice if they like me have a phobia about dentists which for me stemmed from bad treatment when I was younger on more than one occasion which put me off for a very long time but not not Dr Needham is now my go to dentist.
