I am worried about having my roots removed
Hi I have to have 4 roots out and my dentist has referred me to another dentist which specializes in that area. I suffer with anxiety anyway and this type of situation makes it ten times worse, and not knowing the dentist and having to have sedation I am really worrying about it. What should I do. Thank you.
I gather you have been referred for sedation to have the 4 roots out .
Although it will be a strange person, they are highly trained in 1. Giving the sedation , and 2 extracting the roots .
Ive experienced this myself when Ive been referred and havent met someone , but with sedation once you have got past having the drug administered , you will not be aware or care who is doing it .
Sometimes as in your case , not meeting the operator first is unavoidable , but if they are a dentist who does sedation they have decided to care for nervous patients .
