I have a strong fear of having dental treatment

Hi there I have an acute fear of dental treatment. I had a tooth removed earlier this year because of my fear my dentist reffered me to a dentist with iv sedation it was a great job now I need another tooth removed but my dentist wont reffer me to the dentist who has the iv sedation I dont know what to do

You need to ask the dentist why they wont do another referral ?
is it to do with the funding system , if it is then you need to know , and then ask what you could do .
Its different in different areas of the country .
But you may have to go Privately , or ask the dentist to arrange some form of sedation such as taking a 10 mgm diazepam tablet or getting some oral temazepam tablets through your dr . The dentist should know about these methods , but some dont want to treat phobic patients so dont learn
