Dr Dara Cotton graduated with Honours from the Birmingham School of Dentistry. Her studies led her to receive academic prizes for her work in pathology and pharmacology. Following this, she completed a Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and has since gone on to study for a Diploma in Implant Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in London. 

To improve her understanding of general and implant dentistry, Dr Cotton attends lectures, conferences, and study tours all over the world, 

To ensure she’s delivering the best standard of care, Dr Cotton gets to know her patients and talks them through any treatments to help reduce nerves. As a Dental Phobia Certified dentist, Dr Cotton uses IV sedation to stop anxious feelings, improving the treatment experience. 

Dr Cotton has a variety of passions outside of her professional interests, including studying wine, playing piano, painting, singing, cooking, Ashtanga Yoga, and meditation. Dr Cotton is a great lover of animals and keeps several pets.
