Dr Marius McGovern graduated from Liverpool University in 1995. Since then, he has continued to work within the Merseyside area and is the Clinical Director of Liverpool Dental Spa.

To further his own professional development, Dr McGovern has studied under several of the world’s top practising dentists, attending courses within the UK and around the globe. 

In addition to his initial dental qualifications, Dr McGovern has also obtained Certificates in Restorative, Implantology, and Trafford Implants from the St Annes Dental Academy, a certificate in Multi-system Implantology from the University of Salford, and a certificate in Implantology from the University of Central Lancashire. 

Currently, Dr McGovern is working towards both a Master’s degree in Implantology as well as a diploma in restorative dentistry. 

As a clinical instructor at California Centre for Advanced Dental Studies, DrMcGovern has trained many new dentists. In addition to this, he also provides mentorship at implant companies. 

To help nervous patients manage their dental phobia, Dr McGovern offers IV sedation. If you’re anxious or afraid of the treatment you’re about to receive, conscious sedation helps calm you down so you can get the procedure you need.

In his spare time, Dr McGovern enjoys power boating, sailing, flying, and watching football and rugby.
