Dr Mia Zhand received her initial dental training from Kings College, London where she graduated in 1996. After this, she started working at Kensington Dental Practice in 1997 where she has remained throughout her entire career.

Alongside Dr Zhand’s experience in general dentistry, she also performs tooth extractions, root canal treatment, fillings, and cosmetic orthodontics. She is also experienced in pain control. 

Dr Zhand’s special interests include treating anxious patients and performing cosmetic procedures –  in particular, carrying out smile makeovers. She is able to provide treatments such as teeth whitening and porcelain veneer placement to restore smiles. Her cosmetic treatments make use of the latest treatments and aim to address the structure and symmetry of the face. 

Her special interest in dental phobia means that Dr Zhand is well equipped for assisting patients with specific anxieties surrounding treatment. 

With an understanding and patient manner, Dr Zhand listens to the fears of her patients and helps them by providing IV sedation to ensure they are completely calm during any treatment they’re receiving.
